The Securities Services business provides critical post-trade services by leveraging Citi’s local and global presence to deliver a market leading platform. We have the largest proprietary sub-custody network in the industry and provide a wide array of financial solutions for clients including: securities clearance and safekeeping via our global custody network, fund accounting and administration, and middle office outsourcing. Our business lines include Custody, Global Fund Services, Execution Services and Issuer Services. As the APAC Securities Services Sr. Business Manager, you will collaborate with business and functional partners to execute on the strategic priorities and business improvement initiatives, prepare materials and participate in various management committees, and work with global CAO teams to implement business optimization strategies. You will be responsible for and have the oversight on the various business management activities of the Securities Services franchise in APAC including the business financials, budgeting & planning, employee headcount, preparing materials for senior business reviews (MBRs), and identify areas for improvement along with actionable solutions for key business problems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business and support functions to ensure efficient operation and administration of the business
  • Identify key business drivers and develop / improve related management tracking metrics and key performance indicators
  • Identify areas of focus to drive business optimization, ensure stakeholders remain on track to deliver optimization initiatives, and track cost saves achieved
  • Liaise closely with global business and functional partners to structure and implement strategic enhancements to current processes
  • Lead projects across their lifecycle by identifying and structuring problems, analyzing root causes, developing actionable solutions, communicating project results, and obtaining buy-in for change.
  • Synthesize key findings and recommendations into clear and succinct presentations for senior leadership.
  • Develop strong working relationships and effectively partner with key business and functional stakeholders across the organization to accomplish goals.
  • Lead and direct a team of professionals with indirect management responsibility
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree required. Master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Financial Services, Strategy or Consulting with project planning and management expertise
  • Proven analytical, quantitative and strategic planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals, and drive results
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and organizational / time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented. Able to create support across a wide range of stakeholders through well-developed interpersonal and influencing capabilities
  • Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries; willing to break down business and/or functional silos to optimize results
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Able to work through a large, complex matrix organization; demonstrates a flexible approach and resilience to setbacks
  • Organizationally savvy; understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret
  • General knowledge of Securities Services products
