Job Description

The role of Senior Consultant, as a senior doctor is to apply knowledge and skills to diagnosis, manage and perform general surgeries. A Senior Consultant Surgeon should be competent in all general surgical conditions and be an expert in a relevant sub-specialised field of general surgery.
Senior Consultants will be tasked with the responsibility of developing and leading clinical services within the Department.
In addition, he/she is expected to be engaged in teaching, mentoring of junior specialists / junior doctors and scholarly activities (research and learning). Senior Consultants may be involved in leading / participating in non-clinical administrative duties in the hospital.
REQUIREMENTS

Relevant postgraduate qualification in Surgery;
Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment and strong adaptability to changes;
Strong command of spoken and written English;
Registered (or meet registration criteria) as a Specialist with Singapore Medical Council
