Description What You Will Do
Vision, Strategy, Knowledge

• Develop and communicate a shared Vision that is aligned with Divisions and supports the company\xe2\x80\x99s and Supply Chain Vision. Develop effective strategies that enable achieving that vision.
• Seek and acquire that will enable innovation and continuous improvement. Share own knowledge proactively.
• Benchmark performance of the DC Network and establish sound short term and long term objectives and KPIs that will provide industry leading performance and cost.
• To drive Knowledge, Best practices, Visions sharing and collaboration for improving warehousing capabilities and standards. ensuring strategies and expectations are aligned to support Molex business changes and directions.

Distribution Operations in Asia, including Taiwan, Shanghai, Chengdu, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea and Japan

• Overseas and improves operational performance and cost of own and 3PL operated sites towards Best in Class in the industry.
• Contract management and renewal of 3PL operated sites.
• Establish and leverage gain share agreements with 3PLs.
• Capacity Management: Work with stakeholders to establish short term and long term capacity needs and right size operations.

Network optimization

• Lead the optimal configuration of the network of Distribution Centers relative to location, size, capabilities and inventory.
• Leverage the company\xe2\x80\x99s Network Modelling and Optimization capabilities.
• Leads changes in the DC network, including site closure, relocation and start-up of new DCs.

Supply Chain Management

• Collaborates with all Supply Chain capabilities to optimize End-To-End Supply Chain and DC performance and cost.
• Supports the Transportation team in managing forwarders and their contracts for each DC.
• Works with plant operations in Europe and US to optimize supply to Asia DCs.
• Reviews customer and internal stakeholder expectations. Enable superior customer experience through the DC Network performance.

Talent & Capability Development

• Coach, train and develop individuals and teams.
• Identify and utilize individual comparative advantages to increase team contributions.
• Identify future need in Capabilities, Knowledge and skills.

Stewardship & Compliance

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to establish and deploy principles and policies that secure superior EH&S performance.
• Continuously improve our compliance practices.
• Compliant Free Trade Zone and bonded Operations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 operations management and leadership experience in a global or regional Logistics, Supply Chain role that includes Distribution Center Operations
• Customer engagement and Business Partner Management
• Familiar with Cost To Serve concept and approaches
• Experience as Lea/ Six Sigma, TPM or TPS Practitioner
• Trade Compliance and Freed Trade Zone and bonded Operations
• Managing Outsourcing Partners
• Operating experience with Warehouse Management Systems, preferably implementation experience
• Familiar in the application of Network Optimization approaches
• Working in cross-functional and multicultural teams. Strong presentation skills.
