Responsible for managing projects, preventive maintenance, timely repair and other operation activities related to Telecommunication equipment and infrastructure to ensure 100% uptime for all Landlines in TTSH Main, NCID, ICH, CHI, CDC2, Annex 1 & 2 and all buildings under TTSH.
TTSH Main, NCID, ICH, CHI, CDC2, Annex 1 & 2 and all buildings under TTSH by regular review, update and check-in with users to ensure minimal redundancies and reduce landline operating costs. * Management of mobile lines and mobile handsets by regular review, update and check-in with users to ensure minimal redundancies and reduce mobile related operating costs.
Ensure effective cost and billing management for Telecommunications related bill by Telco by regular review of lines usage and tracking of payment progress.
Assess, Manage, Maintain relevant documents to ensure compliance to Medical Devices and Operational Technology Security requirements.
Keeping up to date with technology changes and hospital needs to ensure resiliency and relevancy to hospital operational needs.
Preparing of monthly or other management report as required.
Support department continuous improvement efforts by leading or facilitating relevant improvement projects.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSPECIFICTelecommunication Maintenance & Repair
Planning of manpower to provide 24 by 7 Telecommunication maintenance and repair for TTSH Main, NCID, ICH, CHI, CDC2, Annex 1 & 2 and all buildings under TTSH.
Ensuring patient safety and safe usage of system through proper maintenance, testing and calibration.
Liaise with user department and vendors to ensure preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance jobs for system under service contract are completed within the required timeframe.
Ensuring scheduled preventive maintenance and breakdowns jobs for team are completed within the required timeframe.
Liaising with user department and vendors ensuring impact to user\'s operations are minimized.
Landline (list of paid numbers) & Mobile Lines (list of paid numbers) & Handsets Maintenance
Maintain and upkeep landline and mobile lines managed by Telecommunication department to ensure accuracy and cost efficiency.
Extract or collate relevant data from Telcos or internal track for analysis, trending and budget planning and projections.
Asset management of handsets and other telecommunication devices for operational efficiency and to ensure accuracy of asset list.
Billing Management
Tracking of Telco bill to ensure accuracy and timely payment
MDOTS
Work with IT team on cybersecurity risk assessment and compliance validation for medical equipment procurement.
Facilitate and support deviation report process, including deviation report preparation, presentation, coordination of user endorsement and management authorisation up to approval from MOH.
Manage documentation of cybersecurity risk assessment reports and cybersecurity deviations.
Manage and maintain record of medical equipment Risk Registration and ensure mitigation control for all IT related risk is implemented.
Ensure medical equipment software to be the latest version when it is delivered and plan for patches and updates during equipment lifespan.
Oversee medical equipment MDOTS compliance status during its lifecycle and plan for technology refresh or equipment replacement before product obsoleting.
Participate in medical equipment IT related projects.
Work with IT team and vendor on medical equipment server planning and software installation.
Oversee health status and vulnerability of medical equipment and servers.
Work closely with IT and users in the event of medical equipment cyber incidents and ensure mitigation control is implemented before releasing equipment to user.
GENERAL
Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends on equipment, land lines and mobile lines usage for management or user reveiw.
Participating, providing technical inputs and drafting of technical specifications for relevant equipment procurement,
Providing support and technical decision guidance to engineers and technical officers on communications skill, issues resolutions and customer services.
Be a team player to accomplish a win-win situation between BME department and user department.
