Description

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific accounting standards and regulations.
• Present financial reports to senior management, highlighting trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
• Lead the coordination of external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Coordinate with subsidiaries for accurate intercompany accounts.
• Reconcile and eliminate intercompany balances during consolidation.
• Oversee cash disbursement processes, including vendor payments, payroll, and expense reimbursements.
• Identify and evaluate potential cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and business strategy.
• Collaborate with executive management to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Analyze financial performance and variances, providing actionable insights to enhance profitability and cost efficiency.

Profile

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• ACCA, CA or CPA qualifications would be highly beneficial
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive finance and accounting experience in any industry
• Experience within hospitality/entertainment industry would be beneficial
• Strong understanding of industry-specific financial challenges, trends, and best practices.
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting and accounting consolidation
• In-depth knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
