Moneythor is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented, Sr. Finance Manager, with professional accounting credentials, who will report into our Chief Operating Officer. This is a critical single contributor role that will help provide financial oversight and guidance to the leadership team in addition to driving the budgeting, forecasting, and relevant analyses. This role is based in Singapore where Moneythor follows a hybrid work model that is a mix of remote and in-office work.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of end-to-end accounting services
  • Design, implementation and monitoring of financial systems and controls globally
  • Preparation of balance sheet, monthly consolidated P&L and other financial reports
  • Budget preparation, management and budget variance reconciliation and reporting
  • Planning and forecasting preparation, budgeting, and analyses
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic and growth initiatives to facilitate strategic planning
  • Preparation of finance presentations and ad hoc reports as required by management
  • Cashflow management and control
  • Payment processing
  • Liaising and coordination with external tax agents and auditors
  • IRAS corporate tax filings and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with all entity statutory requirements and corporate policies in areas of accounting and taxation
  • End-to-end lifecycle management of the invoicing process - including preparation, collation of all necessary material as well as managing the scheduling of related contract renewals, collections, etc.
  • Other adhoc tasks or projects assigned, including process improvement and system implementation

Requirements:
  • At least 7 years work experience in accountancy or related field
  • CPA/CA/ACCA/CFA professional qualification is a must
  • Additional in-house finance or accounting experience is an asset
  • Sound knowledge of financial accounting standards, taxation, and relevant statutory requirements
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
