Job Description

Description As a Senior Incident Response Analyst, you will be part of the Security Incident Response team working with events and incidents as they come in. You will respond to infiltration attempts, log analysis results, and promptly manage infiltration attempts. You will coordinate the security operations center (SOC) analysts to assess events and threats, provide subject matter expertise in data analysis and risk assessments and respond to security incidents. You are a primary Incident responder with highly technical operations and forensic analytic responsibilities. You have to be more than a technician; you must challenge the people and systems, know why you are doing what you are doing, and want to grow constantly.

Qualifications Qualifications include experience in security incident management and or response, including analysis of events, review of suspected malicious activity, identification of indicators of compromise and providing guidance on resolution and remediation activities. Candidate must have a strong understanding of incident response frameworks and threat landscapes. Excellent communicator, written and verbal, ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent analytical skills to identify incident response tasks and appropriate measures needed to help mitigate those incidents. Must be comfortable conducting independent research of issues and inquiries to provide guidance when requested.
