Job Responsibilities
Primary Tasks

• Overall Capacity modelling/planning/expenditures for the filter business. Works with planning, manufacturing, process and equipment engineering to ensure demand is met.
• Review capacity model, understanding the constraints and track cycle to cycle capacity changes.
• Identify bottle-neck process and workout capacity improvement projects with cross-functional teams and/or CapEx for capacity ramping/ expansion for the Filter business.
• Review capital and cashflow requirements, driving activities to improve capital efficiency and reduce cost.
• Conduct time study and update processes cycle time.
• Lead and drive cross functional teams to continuously improve OEE, cycle time and processes.
• Identify process and operation inefficiencies in order to propose solutions for optimization and improvement.

Secondary Tasks

• Project management using Gantt chart / Action plan to execute and track the timeline of tools ready for production.
• Lead, coordinate and work with cross functional teams such as logistic, contractors, tools suppliers, equipment engineers, process engineers, facility engineers, environment health and safety officer to install the tools as planned.
• Brainstorm/Support with layout engineer to optimize equipment density, production flow and expansion.

Job Requirements

• BS in Industrial Engineering required, MS preferred.
• 8 years related experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, experience in Semiconductor Industry preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts, practices, and principles
• Preferred experience with Backend Assembly, Test and Die packing
• Good communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written).
• Possess Project Management skills.
• Excellent problem solving, continuous improvement analytical skills (6Sigma / 5S / Lean Manufacturing).
• Ability to use software models to solve problems.
• Must be a team player, detail oriented, and work well with others and perform well under pressure
• Conduct time study on site.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Self-driven and Self motivate to get job done.

Proficient utilizing:

• Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Power Point, Project, Word & Visio
• AutoCAD
• Simulation Software
• Experience with Reporting tools
• Advance Planning systems
• Reporting systems such as FabTime
• MES (Promis) basic knowledge
