Specific Responsibilities and skills for Position *

  • In the context of exciting pipeline and new product opportunity in oncology, we are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated professional with solid experience in solid tumors and launch settings.
  • The successful candidate will focus on breast cancer and serve as subject matter expert at local setting.
  • Support Associate Director, Oncology within Medical Affairs Department which oversees a cluster of markets in fostering partnership with scientific leaders and medical societies and to facilitate the exchange of unbiased scientific information between the medical community and the company.
  • Contribute and execute engagement plans with HCPs, scientific societies, and communities (PAGs/NGOs) in Oncology; build peer-to-peer professional relationships.
  • Disseminate complex scientific data and have in-depth exchange with HCPs on assigned portfolio.
  • Contribute to the development of impactful medical strategies, publication plans and patient centric initiatives through insight collection and data gap identification.
  • Execute and implement medical strategies, scientific programs and patient centric initiatives at local level and provide support to the region on a need basis.
  • Assist Associate Director, Oncology design the advisory board meetings, scientific education programs, scientific symposiums, patient engagement/centricity program and digital initiatives in Singapore and occasionally cross-territorial/country initiatives.
  • Consolidate and report actionable insights, exchange learnings and best practices with relevant internal stakeholders particularly medical counterparts within the cluster and across the region
  • Explore local data generation and publication opportunities. Facilitate potential investigator sponsored study evaluation and bridge communication between investigator and internal review board.
  • Provide on need basis support to Gilead collaborative post-marketing programs.
  • Utilizes scientific resources for impactful presentations in a variety of different settings.
  • Responds to unsolicited clinical inquiries regarding marketed or developmental Gilead products.
  • Serves as an important medical resource to other functions. Support training to Oncology Commercial in Singapore.
  • Continually monitor the emerging health policies, the disease state environment and their specific implications for the assigned assets and territories to sustain expertise in disease state management and new therapies, competitive products and features.
  • Travels to internal trainings, HCP and stakeholder meetings and scientific conferences on a regular basis, occasionally with short notice.

Essential Duties and Job Functions *
  • Work closely with Country Medical Director and Associate Director, Oncology on development of a variety of projects, he/ she provides independent thought and drive in the further development of specific projects and ensuing presentations and reports.
  • Attends major conferences and helps coordinate medical affairs activities at conferences.
  • Significant external facing. Presents to HCPs on 1-on-1 and group settings a regular basis
  • Must be fully cognizant of all relevant scientific data.
  • Must be cognizant of regulatory requirements for field-based personnel.
  • Must be committed to continuing education to maintain knowledge base.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills *
  • Advanced degree, preferably a MD, Pharmacy or PhD with a solid background in oncology.
  • \xe2\x89\xa54 years of pharma industry or clinical experience is expected.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Affinity for a collaborative, team-oriented environment and approach; ability to network and build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated ability to identify and understand complex issues and problems and identify and query key findings from study data and publications.
  • Able to think outside the box, work with a level of autonomy and independence and display a high level of persistence in the face of challenges
  • Must have demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Regional/ International travelling include occasional weekend travel is required.
