MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational * Plan and implement annual workplans for PHFRC to ensure optimal resource utilisation and alignment to CRIO mission.

• Oversee and streamline manpower needs of PHFRC to enhance efficient distribution and usage of resources.
• Assign clinical trial and duties to the RNs, communicate how the successful performance of those duties will be measured. Monitor project milestones to ensure projects are executed as agreed.
• Develop and formulate plans, procedure and work instructions of the clinical trials section and PHFRC to ensure effective and efficient management of Clinical Trials, CRIO.
• Develop and review for clinical trials processes as well as training and equipping staff to carry out their work correctly, safely and conscientiously.
• Evaluate and make continuous improvement to the clinical trials work processes, both internally and externally within TTSH and cluster. Continuously review the impact of department strategies.
• Monitor clinical trial activities and outcome - prepare reports for senior management. Ensure timely submission of reports to the relevant agencies and authorities.

Finance Management * Monitoring budget utilization

• Ensure timely billing and costs transfer
• Consolidation of study account at end of study
• Management of float
• Budget negotiation and management, CTA final check

Facility management * Ensure adequate/right equipment available to support the trial procedures.

• Ensure equipment are commissioned and maintained according to hospital policy.
• Ensure maintenance log and data generated from the equipment are properly kept.
• Ensure policies are set for tracking and maintenance

Adhoc * CRIO events planning

• Other activities assigned by assistant director or directors
