Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Provision, Install, configure, upgrade, maintain Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Database instances and Provision, Install, configure, upgrade and Manage Azure SQL Managed Instances, including networking, security, and integration with Azure services software and related tools. Monitor and optimize database performance using tools like AWR, OEM, Statspack. Monitor database health and performance using tools like SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Profiler, and Performance Monitor. Monitor database performance and availability, using Azure Monitor, Azure SQL Analytics, and other relevant tools. Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard. Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions using native tools for MS Sql databases. Perform database tuning, patching, and apply security updates. Design and implement database schema, tables, indexes, and stored procedures. Manage user accounts, roles, and privileges for secure database access. Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution. Collaborate with development to deploy code with

devops

tools and infrastructure teams on database-related projects. Maintain documentation on database configuration, processes, and procedures. Plan and execute database upgrades, patching, and migrations. Ensure compliance with data security policies and regulatory requirements. configure, and. Stay updated on Azure cloud best practices, new features, and security patches.
