Candidate will assist Broadcom\xe2\x80\x99s manager with the Asia payroll functions. Candidate will work to ensure payroll expenses and taxes are paid correctly and on time. The role requires supervision of the payroll team, with strong communication skills to liaise with payroll providers, internal business partners, revenue authorities, and other third parties. Candidate must be analytical and methodical, with experience in payroll administration, payroll accounting and deep knowledge of Asia payroll regulations. Ensure payroll procedures are compliant and efficient.

Principal Accountabilities

• Collaborate with business partners to prepare payroll input for timely processing
• Review payroll processing to ensure it accurately reflects company specific pay policies
• Maintain payroll system and records
• Prepare and reconcile month end journals/accounting
• Support customer service
• Review processes to improve and enhance quality
• Support payroll audits and reporting compliance
• Protect employee personal data
• Audit employee pay records and reconcile totals

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

• Accounting, journal preparation and reconciliation experience
• Payroll administration
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient with applications and systems
• Advanced excel spreadsheet skills

Education and Experience

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with accounting course work and 5+ years of related experience
• Proficient in excel, familiar with payroll/HRIS software such as Workday and SAP
