Job Description
The ChallengesThe Podiatry Assistant works closely with the Podiatrists in the delivery of foot care services. You will have responsibilities in both clinical and administrative roles.Your scope of clinical duties will include: * Provision of Diabetic Foot Screening services and Basic Foot Care advice to patients. On the job training will be provided.
- Future career progression into clinical Podiatric practice such as toenail cutting and wound management.
- Preferably with at least GCE 'O' Level
- NITEC/Higher NITEC in Nursing, or Higher NITEC in Community Care & Social Services or its equivalent
- Relevant Work-Study Diploma will be an advantage
- Computer literate, comfortable with working on IT platforms and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Meticulous, with good communication skills
- Able to work independently
