Sr Sales Manager is in charge of leading a team of sales account mangers who sell materials and Structural Analysis Division Electron Microscopy (MSD-EM) products to semiconductor customers in South East Asia (SEA). This role is accountable for ensuring the team has effective customer relations, develops opportunities for growth, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving sales target. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced people leader who enjoys completing account planning and forecasting, analyzing reports on business, and handling performance of the team!
Key responsibilities will be:
Lead the strategic direction for SEA region; Lead the sales team to drive sales strategies to meet plan and expand business; Ensure team maintains a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales objectives;
Use available resources to meet customer needs and work effectively with Business Unit owners, Application team and Service teams.
Perform sales calls and relations with all existing and new customers in SEA
Research competitor and industry activity and keep informed of new products/services and other general information of interest to customers incorporating this data in the business plan;
Show initiative to develop programs to drive growth in any economic condition
Confirm all system configurations, specifications and acceptance conditions are appropriate for closing orders.
Manage \xe2\x80\x98roadmap to PO\xe2\x80\x99 using structured selling approaches such as Miller-Heiman and ensure to follow compliance regulations strictly
Maintain accurate reporting, records, and files vital for proper management of region
Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations
Keys to Success:
Education
A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or above in relevant technical or business domain
Experience
Requires 10-15 years of experience in Semiconductor industry
Prior sales management experience and proven leadership abilities
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Good knowledge of the Semiconductor industry, and/or electron optics and the application fields
Demonstrated ability to develop deep customer relationships and credibility, to gain insight into customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements
Demonstrate sophisticate leadership and interpersonal skills
Able and willing to travel to customer locations
