Our Client is a leading technology company providing component-based solutions for security and identification. We are a world-class specialist in the design and manufacture of Micro connectors for smartcards and RFID Antennas and Inlays.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a specific section within the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production processes and adherence to production schedules.

• Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of process engineers, technicians, and operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and resolve any employee-related issues.
• Production Planning: Collaborate with production planning teams to develop production schedules and ensure alignment with customer demands. Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and take necessary actions to meet production targets.
• Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. Apply lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to drive process efficiencies.
• Quality Control: Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Implement quality control measures, conduct regular inspections, and collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any quality issues and ensure product quality.
• Equipment and Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure the availability and proper functioning of production equipment and machinery. Schedule preventive maintenance activities and address any equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and practices to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety audits, promote safety awareness, and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Continuous Training and Development: Identify training needs for the team and coordinate training programs to enhance technical skills, knowledge, and operational excellence. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Cost Control and Budget Management: Monitor production costs and expenses within the section. Optimize resource allocation, identify cost-saving opportunities, and contribute to budget planning and management.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to production output, quality, and efficiency. Generate reports, analyze data, and provide regular updates to management on section performance and improvement initiatives.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, supply chain, and logistics to ensure smooth operations, resolve production-related issues, and implement process changes effectively.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, environmental standards, and labor laws. Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in manufacturing processes.

Experience Requirements :

• Bachelor degree in Engineering / Manufacturing
• At least 5 - 8 years of semi-conductor back-end process experience
• Candidates with specialized and in-depth process experience in semiconductor assembly process especially in AOI, tape and reel and shipment packing
• Candidates with NPI and project management will be an advantage
• Good communications skill and fluent in English and preferably conversant in another Asian language
