Job Overview:
In this position, the Senior Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for driving the consistent manufacturing & Quality Control processes across all contracts manufactures & Sub-tier Suppliers. The Sr. Engineer will need to have in depth knowledge of the following:

  • Experience with key manufacturing processes on mechanical and electro-mechanical, following categories is desired:
  • Packaging Components – Color box, Corrugated box, Pulp Tray, manuals…
  • Metallic Components – Stamping, Deep Drawing, Die Casting, Machining parts...
  • Rubber/Silicone Components – Tubing, Molded Rubber & Silicone, Tooling.
  • Electro-Mechanical Components – Motors, Pumps, Valves, Sensors, Relay, Switches.
  • Professional who can drive improvement at third party manufactures (leadership & command skills)
  • Ability to communicate in English and Chinese (Malay & Thai will be advantage) clearly and liaises with US manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and APQP
  • Understanding of reliability analysis and application to desired categories


The engineer will be based in Singapore and report to the Sr. sourcing manager. however, the engineer will support US based manufacturing and quality team. This matrix position will require the candidate to be excellent in written and oral communication in English and Mandarin.
This position will require both a collaborative nature and ability to influence across organizational lanes at Keurig and in the field. Requirements:
What you will do:

  • New Supplier Qualifications
  • Apply lean and continuous improvement principles to electronics manufacturing
  • Provide technical support and guidance in the developing contract manufactures & Suppliers
  • Assist in developing PFMEA, dynamic control plans, and root cause analysis with manufacturing partners as required
  • Aid third party manufactures in problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Participate programs with third party manufactures and apply DFM and DFT to manufacturing processes in order to scale risk to new products and perform corrective actions.
  • Participate in new product launches at multiply sites while working as part of a cross functional team.
  • Monitor and drive continuous improvement to ongoing high-volume production.
  • Apply quality & manufacturing knowledge to ensure manufacturing processes are performed in conformance to Keurig standards
  • Assist in performing periodic contract manufacture and vendor audits and assessments
  • Ability to communicate across different cultures and languages with to direct disparate parties to a third common ground of understanding
  • Support development and implementation of reliability test protocol at contract manufactures
  • Support development of systems level dashboards across contract manufactures
  • Test and troubleshoot sub-systems functional requirements, hardware and software interfaces
  • Document validation & verification failures based on requirements and test cases
  • Inspire others to share acquired knowledge and can take a supportive role during technical discussions
  • Liaise with other functions to successfully contribute to the organization’s goals


What you must have:


  • Bachelor’s degree or above in in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering
  • At least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing & Quality Control Experience in a global company
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS-16949, ISO 27001
  • Understanding of UL, CSA, ETL, CE, and TUV requirements as they apply to manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Reliability Theory, and Theory of Constraints
  • Product launch leader experience (experience working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary team bringing product to market)
  • Solid understanding of DOE and regression methods coupled with strong understand of the effects of variance in product and manufacturing systems
  • Experience in reliability methods and failure mode analysis (DFMEA, PFMEA)
  • Cross over experience in product design, reliability, and quality
  • Familiar with statistical process control software such as Minitab or JMP
  • Strong quantitative and analytic skills; capable of translating findings into business actions
  • Ability to present written and verbal presentation to engineering and manufacturing senior management
  • Product life cycle experience (start to end)
  • Availability to travel across China and Southeast Asia in short notice
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • High integrity, reliability, and honesty
  • Independence and be able to work under a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and time-sensitive global environment
