DESIGNATION : Sr/Executive (Marketing) (6 months maternity cover)

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be part of the Cheers Marketing team in the Customer & Marketing organisation, to run customer marketing campaigns and programs across Cheers & FairPrice Express convenience stores for the FairPrice Group. You will be part of a small but Super Team whose responsibility would be to drive store traffic, increase engagement and increase basket spend.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Omni-channel marketing campaigns (online and offline communication) where the goal would be to make more customers aware of the Cheers offering and engage them to patronise the brand. This is an individual contributor’s role with the ability to work with colleagues across different functions to drive specific business goals.

• Responsible for day to day administrative details for communications projects
• Responsible for developing and executing creative for our media touch points.
• Execution of initiatives will also include working with agencies to develop accompanying points of sale materials, digital marketing communications and other media buys to gain maximum effectiveness and ROI on initiatives.
• Robust tracking and sharing of learnings from past marketing campaigns are needed for every initiative launched.
• Work closely with stores & operations teams to put together and propose and pilot marketing initiatives that help to drive more sales ROI for stores.
• Drive conversations with cross functional teams in FairPrice group, suppliers/brand owners, content partners to run marketing programs in convenience stores.
• Keen oversight of our Cheers website and social media channels to present consistent messages to our customers.
• Competitive tracking through our roster agencies and own initiative.
• Accountable for the campaign level budgets as agreed with the Director/Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Business or Marketing with minimum 3 years of relevant marketing communications experience
• Degree in Business or Marketing with some relevant marketing communications experience, ideally in the retail industry or an advertising agency
• Business acumen as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in working with creative/ media agencies, production houses and event companies is an advantage.
• Good analytical skills with experience in attaining and applying data to make decisions
• Ability to navigate well in ambiguity. Strong creative-thinking and problem solving skills.
• Excited to be hands-on, visit stores and seek improvements to execution of campaign initiatives.
• Comfortable with the fast pace in a retail environment.
• High energy, tenacious, growth mindset, customer-first focus and a bias for action is a must!
• A creative thinker, not only willing to try new things and approaches but in fact thriving upon these challenges.
