Adecco is partnering with a multinational corporation Semiconductor company to search for a SSD Test Engineer

The Opportunity

The Talent

ITE/Diploma/Bachelor's degree in computer/electrical/electronic engineering would be an advantage
Experience with OS installation, assembly and debug of laptop/desktop systems would be an advantage
Experience with using Oscilloscope and Bus Analyzer will be beneficial
Basic working knowledge with Windows and/or Linux OS
Comfortable working in an ESD-protected lab environment, server room, loud noise environment
Analytical skills and diagnose to find the root cause and apply corrective actions
Knowledge of system storage and relationship to platform peripherals would be added advantage
Knowledge on SSD will be beneficial

MAIN FUNCTIONS
Provide support in validating the new SSD under development

Execute testing of SSD on server platforms to validate functionality.
Perform debug and analysis of failures towards resolution of failures observed.
Participate in setting up of test environment and servers in preparation for validation.
Tabulate test results and generate report for continuous firmware health monitoring.
