JR27904 Staff Engineer, SSD Software A Staff Engineer - SSD Software is responsible for the development and maintenance of NVMe Linux and Windows drivers and test frameworks. Responsibilities & Tasks

• Design, develop, and debug NVMe Linux, Windows drivers like in-box NVMe and dNVME
• Design and develop frameworks to be used in SSD testing
• Client, Consumer & Enterprise SSD programs
• Analyze customer issues with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities

Qualifications

• Proficiency programming with C, C++ and Python
• Ability to understand and debug interface protocols (SATA, SAS, NVMe)
• Understanding of Windows and UNIX / Linux kernel internals
• Triage/ debug of issues found during test execution
• A high level of self-motivation, and dedication to find creative solutions to difficult problems
• The ability to work well on a team based in different worldwide locations
• The ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in the full stack application development, preferably in Storage area on Windows & Linux OS
