Job Responsibilities

• 
  Perform basic and complex nursing procedures and treatment to meet the general comfort and wellbeing of the patient. Perform patient assessment and appropriate interventions for effective patient\xe2\x80\x99s outcomes.
• 
  Utilise clinical judgement, critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the delivery of patient care and assist in development of clinical policies and procedures.
• 
  Demonstrate expertise in advanced clinical skills and knowledge such as performing intravenous cannulation, venepuncture, administration of medication, ECG monitoring and interpretation, assist in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and blood culture sampling.
• 
  Maintain proper and accurate documentation of patient\xe2\x80\x99s progress and management rendered in the notes, medication records and charts.
• 
  Assist Specialist during treatment / procedures and examination of patients. Update the doctor-in-charge about the patient\xe2\x80\x99s condition and response to medical intervention.
• 
  Follow through with doctors\xe2\x80\x99 order and report promptly any changes in patient\xe2\x80\x99s condition to the appropriate doctor.

Job Requirements

• 
  Possess at least a Diploma in Nursing and is a registered nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board
• At least 3 years post-registration working experience in the appropriate clinical speciality is preferred
• Assist Doctors in clinical procedures when necessary
• Attend to patient enquiries and liase with medical/admin teams for patient followup
• 
  Clinical Specialities: Surgery, Heart, Children, Medical-Surgical, Eye Centre, Women Centre, NeuroScience, Urology and Radiology
• 
  Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• 
  Good communication and interpersonal skills
• 
  5.5 days work week
