We manage a portfolio of six key programs including Family Service Centres, Child Protection Specialist Centre, Goodlife, YAH! and Home bath services. Our workforce size is about 300 employees; spread across 20 locations/centres across Singapore. Our HQ resides at 624 Upper Bukit Timah Road Singapore. Our program centres primarily are located in Marine Parade, Mountbatten, Telok Blangah, Kreta Ayer, Agape Village @ Toa Payoh and Yishun. DESIGNATION : Staff Nurse

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Staff Nurse is responsible for facilitating change and improving lives for individuals, families, community facing transitional challenges through the provision of direct services. He / She will act professionally at all times and be accountable to the client and the organization to ensure that intervention plans are developed and implemented according to professional judgment and knowledge. Responsibilities:

  • Render care to clients in accordance to Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) \xe2\x80\x98Code for Nurses and Midwives\xe2\x80\x99.
  • Perform tasks assigned with standards set by SNB in \xe2\x80\x98Core Competencies and Generic Skills of Registered Nurses\xe2\x80\x99.
  • Assess and accept clients to programme according to eligibility and complete all necessary assessments and documentations.
  • Develop Individualised care plan base on client\xe2\x80\x99s needs with person-centred approach.
  • Oversee clients\xe2\x80\x99 medical / nursing needs and ensure service delivery according to service contract and maintains documentation accordingly.
  • Collaborate and co-operate with internal and external care team members for co-managed cases.
  • Conduct education and training sessions for caregivers and / or clients to promote person-centred care needs.
  • Conduct in-service training sessions to guide and support staff and volunteers.
  • Develop and review workflows or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to aid operation needs.
  • Recommend new strategies for service development and quality improvement / excellence to supervisor and / or manager.
  • Be a good team player, building positive influence to team and motivated to learn and grow towards self-excellence.
