Job Responsibilities
a? Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve stamping related problems systematically to achieve productivity, quality and cost targets.
a? Assist in stamping tool design reviews for new product development
a? Work closely with the Production Team to achieve set goals and targets.
a? Establish process capability, optimum parameter setting, mill cost, Bill of Material (BOM) and work instruction for dies and processes.
a? Identify / propose cost reduction program / upgrading to achieve quality and competitive cost to meet present and future stamping requirements.
a? Provide technical guidance / training to Toolmakers / Production Technicians to ensure effective operations of the area.
a? Train and lead a team of Toolmakers and Production Technicians
a? Work to comply with safety requirements and maintain safe working habits.
Job Requirements
a? Possess a Diploma in Mechanical / Production or NTC II in tool and die making.
a? For diploma holders: Minimum of 5 years' experience in high speed stamping environment.
a? For NTC II holders: Minimum of 15 years' experience in die maintenance and stamping.
a? Taking initiative and contributing innovative ideas are advantageous to this position.
a? Good analytical skills and time management capability.
a? Able to read and interpret die and part drawing
a? Possess good knowledge in metal forming and die making / die maintenance.
a? Able to work under tight schedule.
a? Able to plan work systematically
a? Able to analyze problem for solution with minimum effort and time
a? Experience in running mass production of precision parts is advantageous
Working hours:
Mon to Fri, 8:15am to 5:45pm
