Broadcom's Central Engineering Group builds the Foundation IP that powers Broadcom's leading silicon product families.In this position, the successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for the design, development and delivery of standard cell library foundation IPJob ResponsibilitiesDesign cells or macros at the transistor levelMake design tradeoffs for PPA, DTCO optimizationSimulate and analyze circuit designsDevelop and maintain CAD flowsInterface with design teams to understand requirements and identify opportunities for custom solutionsKey RequirementsDigital or mixed-signal circuit design knowledgeUnderstanding of cell layout or physical designFamiliarity with FinFet , RibbonFet / GAA Process Technology nodesFamiliarity with EDA tools used for cell design, layout, verification, simulation and characterizationExperience with CAD view generation for cell librariesExperience with scripting using Unix, Perl, TCL or PythonQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 4+ years of related experience .
