Operate assigned vessels and/or other crafts as designated
Maintain the vessel in a clean, orderly, and seaworthy condition
Conduct routine engine inspections and ensure proper functioning
Clean and wash both interior and exterior areas of the craft
Identify, record, and report any mechanical or operational defects
Provide assistance in general operational tasks as required
Perform mooring and unmooring operations safely and efficiently
Participate in oil spill response and containment activities
Uphold general housekeeping and maintenance standards
Observe and adhere to all terminal and company safety regulations
Requirements:
Possess a valid MPA Helmsman / Steersman (Port Limit) / MPA SR License or equivalent qualification
Successfully pass an approved eyesight test
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience operating ferry boats or harbor vessels
Comfortable with outdoor working conditions
* Willing to work extended hours when required
