Job Description

- Store Assistant (Marine Ship Repair)



Assist in receiving, recording, and issuing marine spare parts, tools, and consumables used in ship repair operations. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and safe handling of items such as lubricants, paints, fittings, and mechanical/electrical components. Maintain accurate stock records, update inventory systems, and prepare issue/receipt documentation as per company procedures.Work closely with procurement, technical, and workshop teams to ensure timely availability of materials for ongoing projects. Keep the store area clean, organized, and compliant with marine industry safety and environmental standards.

Job Requirements - Store Assistant



Minimum secondary school certificate or ITE in logistics, warehousing, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in a marine, shipyard, or industrial store environment preferred. Knowledge of marine equipment and materials; basic computer skills for inventory software (e.g., ERP or Excel). Ability to handle moderate lifting and physical work in a shipyard or warehouse environment. Own transport or Class 3 license preferred but not compulsory. Comfortable working in Tuas (Company transport pick up from Pioneer available) * Good communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to follow safety and operational procedures.
