Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Loads and unload goods upon receiving, sorting, organising and storing the inventory at a proper location, including moving the goods to the designated facilities
• Responsible for ensuring efficient delivery of orders, checking the condition of the goods and performing tally check on physical goods against the documentation received
• Checks packaging and labelling of goods based on Production materials/ goods order or requests, preparing the goods/ materials and ensuring correct distribution of goods for Production use
• Checks goods returned from Production, ensuring the quantity, quality and goods are in proper order before storage and updates inventory records in recording check sheets
• Operates all material handling equipments and vehicles (i.e. forklift) based on the standard operating procedures
• Reports to the direct supervisor for further action on any damaged or missing goods in the warehouse area, supporting and assisting in the investigation for discrepancies
• Responsible for ensuring good maintenance and housekeeping at warehouse, storage area is free of debris and safety hazards are removed from aisles
• Maintains all material handling equipments and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and preventive maintenance is timely performed
• Provides administrative support to other team members as required to achieve functional objectives and deadlines

Requirements:

• Minimum PSLE
• Able to handle material loading and unloading
• Basic proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Basic user of Microsoft Office products
• Basic office administration process understanding
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
