Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload incoming shipment, to ensure that the goods quantities are correct and free from damage before arrange to the appropriate location.
- Prepare and pack the goods for outgoing shipment in accordance to delivery orders and requested shipping schedule.
- Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, labeling supplies
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
- Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
- Constantly check and rotate stock locations to ensure sufficient space allowance ( inform direct superior before job is carried out )
- To ensure goods are properly handled and stored.
- Ensure that work is performed in a safe and responsible manner following all safety guidelines of the company.
- Other responsibilities as considered necessary by the Management from time to time.
- To ensure that the store is always maintained up to date in all respects in a presentable condition.
- Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
