Roles & Responsibilities Main Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments including items packing/unpacking and operating forklift/pallet jack.
• Implement assets/equipment/material management in accordance to ISO and WSH Policy (Safety).
• Ensure store/workshop activities are efficient and economical utilisation of facilities
• Monitor and verify and ensure that the goods received and its quantity tally with the order form
• To maintain required safety equipment (PPE) stocks
• Perform maintenance of tools and equipment
• Control of materials/tools/equipment movement between job site to job site (proper transfer paperwork and update of item location in inventory)
• Maintain inventory system for audit purpose. Proper filing of paperworks.
• Maintain valid certifications for statutory/non-statutory equipment
• Responsible for waste disposal coordination, scrap, etc.
• Responsible to adopt good housekeeping and overall safety practice to comply to WSH Policy (safety).
• Participate in internal and external audits related to store operation.
• General maintenance, cleanliness of the building facilities.
• To manage and coordinate company drivers and vehicles. (4 company drivers will report to this position).
• To assist in construction equipment ordering for job site when necessary (crane/lorry crane/trailer)
• To assist in procurement paperwork for purchase of materials/equipment and consumables. (Minor liaising with vendor/supplier required)
• Point of contact for site personnel for works at store/workshop.
• Any other tasks as and when assigned by manager/management.

• Min. 1-2 years’ relevant working experience
• Possess forklift license and experienced in operating forklift
• Physically fit (manual moving of goods involved)
• Able to work in construction store/workshop floor office
• Work requires wearing of PPE
• A good sense of urgency and ability to prioritise workload
• Possess self-discipline and initiative
• Elementary level of computer skill for update inventory into the system, use email system.
• Able to commit to overtime when work requires.
