Job Description
Our Client from the healthcare industry is looking for Storekeeper for the Clinical Lab department.
- In charge of all storage areas for the Lab department
- Co-ordinate all delivery arrangements for and ensure accurate and timely receipt of incoming laboratory supplies.
- Provide training and information to Operations and Laboratory team members on inventory tracking and par level management.
- Liaise with vendors if items delivered are expired, damaged or poorly packed.
- Maintain accurate physical inventory counts and records of stock utilisation.
- Organise all storage areas to maximise capacity, minimise handling of products, and ensure staff safety.
- Ensure that storage areas are clean and secure at all times to prevent pilferage.
- Review inventory management and suggest improvements (using best LEAN practices) to Operations team and Head of Clinical Laboratory.
- Establish par levels with clinical laboratory team members and ensure no exhaustion of stock.
- Take responsibility for monthly stock-take.
- 1-2 years of relevant working experience
