In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion.Strategic Procurement BuyerSupporting commodity team to purchase direct materials following established purchasing policies and procedures, and optimizing price delivery and terms. Reviews current suppliers and identifies areas where pricing opportunities may exist. Provide local support from Asia to support commodity team for North America plants.About the job:

• Support commodity team to work with Asia suppliers to solve issues like quality, delivery, components shortage, etc.
• Support on Asia supplier negotiation for assigned commodity for cost reduction, payment term extension, supplier consolidation activities, etc.
• Conduct market research to gain market intelligence and explore new suppliers and product offerings in Asia market.
• Assist on internal reports according to company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned.

About you:

• Education: Bachelor or university degree
• Experience: Minimum two years of experience
• Familiarity with procurement practices
• Experience with global manufacturing companies
• Knowledge in MS Office
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Self-motivated and result driven
