About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategy and Transformation Programme Manager to join our Technology Development Function. As the Strategy and Transformation Programme Manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving strategic initiatives and transformational projects within the department. Your role will involve developing and implementing transformational strategies, managing complex programmes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a strong background in technology, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to drive change and innovation.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and implement high impact transformational strategies: Collaborate with senior leadership to define the technology development functions strategic objectives and develop actionable plans to achieve them. Align the technology strategy with the organization\'s overall business goals.

Drive transformational initiatives: Lead and manage large-scale transformation programmes within the technology development function. Identify areas for improvement, develop transformation plans, and implement strategic changes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Project management: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Effectively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies. Monitor progress, track milestones, and report project status to stakeholders.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with various teams and stakeholders, including senior leaders. Foster strong relationships and collaboration to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

Change management: Develop and implement change management strategies to drive organizational adoption of new ways of working and processes. Lead change initiatives, communicate effectively, and manage stakeholders\' expectations throughout the transformation journey.

Performance measurement and reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success of strategic initiatives and transformation projects. Regularly analyze and report on project performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended improvements.

Innovation and emerging technologies: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the technology landscape. Evaluate and recommend innovative solutions to drive business growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage.

About you
The successful candidate will require the following skills and experience:

Proven experience in strategy development, transformation programme management, and technology implementation, preferably within a large organization or technology-driven company.

Strong understanding of technology trends, industry standards, and emerging technologies.

Project Management Skills: Proven track record in managing transformational projects or programmes within a fast-paced environment, including planning, execution, and delivery.

Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in using data-driven insights to drive decision-making.

Ability to think strategically and translate organizational goals into actionable plans.

Demonstrated experience in leading change management initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
