YAMADA Consulting Group is a Japanese management consulting firm listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Section One with around 1,000 consultants across Japan, Asia and USA.

As one of the leading independent consultancy firms in Japan, we engage in consulting services through multiple business segments such as Strategy & Operations Consulting, M&A Advisory and Financial Advisory, Turnaround Management, and Supply Chain Restructuring. The company is rapidly expanding its presence in Southeast Asia, and thus is looking for a young and driven individual to join our growing team in Singapore



& Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong data analysis and strategy development skills to support data-driven decision making. The candidate will work closely with Strategy Consulting team to build and work on reports that have direct impacts on business priorities and strategies. Candidates with experience in project management, strategy development, data analysis, reporting, and visualization will be preferred.

Strategy Consulting Unit

Strategy Consulting Unit manages a wide range of client engagements that pertain to ASEAN, India, and other Asia Pacific countries. Our consulting projects include:

• Market research, market entry & new business development, strategic planning

• Business due diligence, joint venture, business partnership

• Organization and operation consulting, corporate governance consulting

Duration

Duration and work hours of internship can be negotiated

What You\'ll Do

• Support various management consulting projects by taking charge of distinct workstreams of the project, which may involve market research, strategy development, and M&A

• Identify business strategies by consolidating information sources, conducting detailed analysis, and translating into actionable insights

• Synthesize research findings and present to key project stakeholders

Qualifications Required:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities with hypothesis-driven research skills

• Self-motivated & independent

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred:

• Consulting background / Market Research experience preferred

• Business level Japanese language proficiency (N2 and above) is highly advantageous

• Other language capability (business level) is an advantage
