The Opportunity

Adecco is partnering with a heavy equipment provider company

The role will act as technical expert for structural analysis/ design issue, perform structural design calculations as per location\'s regulations

Appointed as Lead Engineer for project work to meet customers

Working hours: Hybrid, Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4.45pm

The Talent

Degree in Civil, Mechanical or any other Engineering related discipline

Minimally to have 2 years of related environment

Must be able to work on Staad.pro

Good to have knowledge in SAP and Solidworks

Good in communication as you are required to present your ideas to team

The Job

Check and approve drawings, information and documentations, ensure that they meet Industrial standards and code

Oversee Engineering work to assure accuracy and conformance with Client/ Company Specifications

Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in all pertinent aspects of the discipline including design, analysis techniques, products, applicable codes and construction practices related to assigned projects.

Advise and assist project and discipline engineers with the interpretation and clarification of applicable industry Codes and Client Specification requirements.

Manage outsourcing of structural engineering work if necessary.

Create or check Design Basis document for projects that is based on the applicable Codes, client specifications, company scope of supply, and approved exception list.

Perform or check structural calculations with all applicable design loads and design combinations in accordance with the "Design Basis".

Provide or check preliminary structural beams weights.

Review "as-built" drawings and re-run or check calculations, as required, to ensure conformity.

Represent company structural discipline with customers during review meetings.
