The Originator will be in charge of developing relationship with banks and corporates in countries defined in STF business plan, specifically seeking the need for trade related financing structures. He will be able to build the activity from inception and will have to demonstrate a strong understanding of various countries economic and political risks as well as corporate credit and financial institution risks. The partnership with other STF team members, risk distribution in particular will be critical as it will be essential to articulate these risks in order to build successful transactions that can be structured and sold to investor banks and other financial institutions. The successful candidate will need to be a business leader that can demonstrate strong commercial mindset and innovation that foster the STF group footprint and support the activities of ADM group in the region.Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director - APAC Regional Lead of STF - the main duties of this role will include:

• Originate transactions leveraging on existing track record and build new customer relationships in the region
• Distribute STF transactions into PRC or Regional market
• Seek and develop new business activities and engage with ADM units and treasury group to find suitable opportunities
• Lead the transactional activity with other STF team members, distribution in particular, but also structuring and execution
• Lead at country level all communications, collaborations, and necessary explanations with the different support functions and management on the STF transactions for a quicker and smother implementation of the STF structures
• Understand the risks involved and ability to articulate these risks to STF head and other committees
• Monitor the distributed asset portfolio relating to the transactions originated that protects ADM\'s reputation and distribution banks relationship
• Respond immediately in case of any change in the regulation and make necessary change in the STF structures
• Build a long term sustainable business in accordance with the group business mindset, procedures, and policies as well as in accordance with the local environment.

Your Profile
The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelor or Master degree in business/banking or finance (or similar)
• 8-10 years in financial institutions and/or corporate finance, preferably with structured trade finance exposure
• Strong understanding of trade, corporate lending as well as treasury activities
• Corporate credit experience with ability to understand and analyses corporate and financial institutions financial statements
• Risk Management mindset that does accompany the development of new customers and market development
• Experience in marketing and other client search
• Self-motivated, willingness to constantly innovate and seek news ways to support the activities of the group
• Highly numerate, ability to grasp complex financial products & transactions
• Passion for learning new products and skills and drive change when needed
• Ability to influence at different levels within (business units) and outside the organization (origination banks and corporates)
• Very open minded and team oriented with a desire to succeed as a group
• Strong business acumen, commercial instinct and opportunity driven
