Job Description

Our Student Care Centres provide a caring, conducive and safe environment for children whose parents are unable to look after them during the day because of work commitments. Creating a stable home-away-from-home environment at each centre is important as students can spend their time meaningfully and be positively nurtured in their mental well-being. Such an environment also provides opportunities for the students to develop socially, morally, emotionally and intellectually. Job Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the centre
• Establish and maintain good relations with relevant stakeholders such as school management, parents, external vendors
• Involve in staff recruitment, training, conflict management, mentoring and welfare management
• Handle administrative duties \xe2\x80\x93 student and staff record, collection of fees, issue receipt and bank in cash/cheque
• Conduct monthly staff meetings to plan programmes for the centre
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager/Department Head

• Possess minimum Diploma, with preferably 2 years of supervisory experience (mature candidates are welcome to apply too!)
• Have interacted with children over the years and love to explore new grounds and experiences with them
• Possess leadership capability and is able to work independently
• Able to implement creative ideas and activities; and, stimulating lessons to encourage students\xe2\x80\x99 participation in classroom activities
• Good organisational and project management skills
• Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team setting
• Passionate about working with children to provide an environment of care in an after-school care environment

• Location of workplace: Newton (10minutes walk away from MRT station)
• Working hours: Monday to Friday \xe2\x80\x93 10:30am to 7pm (not required to work on weekends)
