Job Description
At Curos we strive to grow every aspect of a child. This means we develop not just the cognitive aspects but the character, life skills and STEM exposure too. As a Student Care Supervisor you will be:
- Responsible for the operations of the centre
- Responsible for the safety and effectiveness of the learning environment incl. cleanliness and tidyness
- Responsible for the safety of all children at the centre
- Responsible for the customer experience (students and parents)
- To build strong relationships with parents and students
- Responsible for lesson planning and execution
- Manage the team of teachers and teaching assistants towards the goal of caring and nurturing every student.
- Responsible for reporting on progress of each child under their care
- Teach and help students with homework, ensuring that all homework is completed by the end of the week
- Build relationships with students and parents
- Complete administrative tasks to support the running of the centre e.g. attendance, reporting etc.
- Training in children's services or training related to school-age children
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Cool-tempered and positive attitude
- Firm but kind personality
- A love for teaching and the ability to build a trusting relationship with students, teachers and parents
