Student Care Teacher
Job Description
In Singapore, most parents place their children with student care while they are at work. Student care centres become the second home of these children. With more than 10 years of track record and experience, we want to provide our students a caring environment where they not only get their homework done, but they also develop strong and good character. In our centre, we also shape their behaviour and develop their other abilities which are important life attributes but often overlook in schools, such as memory, concentration and creativity. If you share our values and have the ability to plan, organize, and implement appropriate programs for our students who are primary school age, we invite you to join us as an educator.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching and supervising students in classes
- Planning and preparation of lessons, either academic or enrichment
- Shaping students\' behaviour through proven techniques
- Centre administration, including communicating with parents, handling enquiries and administrative matters
- Providing assistance to the manager in preparation of various activities
- Able to teach Primary School subjects, especially Chinese
- Has a positive mindset and is willing to learn
- Able to work independently, but can also work with the team
