Job Scope:

To provide dedicated support to students-at-risk (est. 20 students) and assist them to attend school regularly and find joy in learning;
Work with students-in-need and at high risk in a more casual and less threatening environment to enhance motivation and build their mental resilience and social-emotional competencies to come to school on a regular basis;
Group or individual sessions to provide students with greater support in meeting their emotional/mental well-being needs.
Support and engage students (in groups or individually) in after school engagement programmes (e.g.: sports and games activities or self-study sessions) organised by school\xe2\x80\x99s Educational Support and Student Management committee.

Requirements:

Shall be registered with Ministry of Education as an instructor and remain registered with the Ministry of Education throughout the Contract period
Possessing skills related to rapport building, effective interpersonal interactions, problem-solving and programme planning and implementation
Preferably with experience working and interacting with teenagers (13-17 years of age) particularly students-at-risk
Preferably with experience working in a similar capacity secondary school environment.
Preferably with Certificate in Social Services, Youth Work or related qualification / experience.

Location: YishunWorking Arrangement: 4 days per weekHourly Rate: $18-$20/hour
