This job code is utilized for the majority of our temporary hires. The individual is performing hourly job duties as defined under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Responsibilities:

• Work with a cross functional group of developers spanning multiple geographies to enhance existing tools to detect security issues in cloud-based applications and infrastructure
• Translate/transfer these security tools into an existing Oracle product
• Design, implement and test software prototypes as required as part of the translation/transfer process
• Write suitable test cases to ensure the accuracy of the integration.
• Integrate these test cases into a suitable CI/CD system to check there are no regressions in the behaviour of the Oracle product.

Key Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
• Passion for solving real world problems through research and development
• Demonstrable interest in software engineering. Any Linux development experience would be an advantage
• Programming experience in two or more of C/C++, Java and/or Python
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of compilers/program analysis would be advantageous
