Review documents and ship construction / repair drawings as per specification and class requirements
Read and understand project related ITP, procedures, specification requirements
Knowledge / experience in interpreting Structural /Hull Fabrication Drawings
Closely follow up with Fit -Up inspection and welding inspection, visual inspection with clients.
Monitor and prepare daily work done reports and steel weight calculations on daily basis.
Able to estimate the scope of works (Cost and Manhours)
Preparing inspection and final work completion reports
Monitor and witness NDT, which includes UT,MT,PT and random RT film interpretation with clients
Read and understand of International Standards such as ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, ASME sec IX, ASME V, AWS D1.1
Other adhoc duties assigned by Department Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
With experience in Marine Operation and Shipyard environment
At least 3 years of experience
Proficient in PC applications such as MS Word, MS Excel (calculations, vloop), MS Outlook
* Able to work overtime and weekends
