Job Description

:

• To check and ensure that the nursing aides and health attendants carry out proper hygiene / safety practices according to healthcare regulations
• To supervise the daily activities of all staff working in the home
• To check the cleanliness of the floors, in the rooms, wards, kitchen area and the premises of the home
• To check the cleanliness of all furniture and settings in the home as well as the equipment/utensils used in the home
• To order all surgical, medical and general expendable when necessary
• To attend to enquiries/complaints from the visitors of the residents in the centre and public as well
• To liaise with the relatives of the residents and screen all potential residents for admission to the home
• To summarize all consumable vouchers of the residents and submitted to admin office for billing
• To interact with the residents and understand their needs in order to discover ways to upgrade the standard of service to the residents
• To plan the weekly roster for the Nursing Aides / Healthcare Assistants / Health Attendant / General Worker
• To assist the home manager / staff nurse in whatever work he / she needs assistance in
• To understand the needs of staff and to report to the home manager if necessary
• To conduct spot checks on all work performance of staff and the maintenance of foreign staff accommodation at all times
• To ensure and up-hold the security of premises with the support of Operations / Facilities department

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum Diploma / ITE
• Team player and is able to work in multi-cultural environment
• Has basic knowledge of MS Office; Words, Excel, etcIndependent and able to work under minimum supervision
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
