Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily food and beverage operations in our restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Leadership: Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations.
Staff Supervision and Training: Train, motivate, and develop a team of servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders to ensure excellent service standards.
Operations Management: Manage daily restaurant operations, including reservations, table assignments, and seating arrangements.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize waste to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Financial Management: Track and manage revenue, expenses, and billing accuracy.
Menu and Beverage Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items and beverage offerings, making recommendations to guests.
Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in food and beverage service, with strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in restaurant management software and computer applications.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including quality control and preparation.
