Supervise and coordinate daily carpentry work activities on site, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion of projects. Assign tasks to carpenters and monitor their performance to ensure compliance with specifications, safety, and productivity standards. Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and material lists; provide clear work instructions to the team. Check measurements, materials, and tools to ensure accuracy and sufficient stock for ongoing work. Inspect finished carpentry works (e.g., doors, cabinets, partitions, flooring) to ensure alignment with design and quality standards. Train and guide carpenters in proper techniques, safety practices, and efficient work procedures. Communicate with site managers, contractors, and clients to resolve technical or operational issues. * Prepare daily progress reports, manpower allocation lists, and material requests.
