Job Description

Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets; provide advice on space planning, design style, color schemes, and materials.





Create design concepts and mood boards; create detailed drawings, floor plans, and 3D models using design software.





Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers; manage project schedules and ensure completion within budget.





Select appropriate materials, furniture, lighting, and accessories.





Supervise the implementation of design schemes; ensure quality control and resolve any issues that arise during installation.





Ensure designs comply with building codes, accessibility standards, and safety regulations.





Lead design projects, develop design concepts, and manage design deliverables.





Job Requirements:





Experience in interior design or a related field.





Design software proficiency: Proficient in CAD, SketchUp, or similar design software.





A keen sense of design, color, and spatial layout.





Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively with clients and present effectively.





Able to manage multiple projects efficiently and complete them on time.





Able to effectively address design challenges and client needs.





Familiar with current design trends, materials, and furniture.
