Job Description
Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Manufacturing industry. They are looking for a Supplier Development Engineer to assist their Engineering team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in North\xe2\x80\x93 easily accessible. This Supplier Development Engineer would be responsible for :
- Responsible for leading Supplier Development of existing and New STD ELE suppliers
- Responsible for working with cross functional teams (design, category, engineering and PLPL) to define best STD ELE solution and suppliers for products in design
- Responsible for assessing new technologies in the industry; insuring suppliers properly validate new processes and technologies for use in automotive electronics
- Responsible for managing with Supplier Quality Engineers to support company manufacturing sites on Standard Electronics (STD ELE) major Quality issues.
- Responsible for interfacing directly with suppliers to resolve complex issues impacting OEM failures and/or field actions.
- Min. Degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineer or relevant studies
- Min. 5 years of relevant experience
- Work experience in STD ELE is a must
