Job Description

My client is a leading manufacturing company within its domain and has it\'s regional headquarters set up in Singapore. The company is looking for a Supply Chain Director to join the Singapore team.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES:

• Strengthen the performance of the operations and supply chain teams by improving planning, execution, reporting, and quality programs, all while aligning with the overall business objectives. Drive necessary changes to support the company\'s growth and adaptability to customer needs.
• Oversee diverse aspects of the manufacturing process, including procurement, delivery, warehousing of materials, inventory control, and distribution of finished goods.
• Take responsibility for product quality, ensuring robust ownership systems are in place to safeguard the brand portfolio and enhance customer and consumer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Team to develop and implement both short-term and long-term strategic initiatives, facilitating the achievement of business growth and profitability goals.
• Coach and empower the team to develop the essential competencies needed for sustained business success and individual growth.
• Represent the company professionally in interactions with customers and vendors, adhering to the values of a world-class organization.
• Foster a culture of inclusiveness, teamwork, and cooperation, enabling the company\'s principles to flourish and prosper throughout the entire organization.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management or Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years\' experience in supply chain management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of motivating and inspiring teams.
• Strong business acumen, adept at aligning supply chain strategies with overall business goals.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving supply chain challenges.
