Job Description


-The Opportunity:Adecco is collaborating with a global technology leader known for its innovation and transformative impact across industries through advanced solutions. This company is at the forefront of technological advancements, offering state-of-the-art inspection tools, metrology systems, and computational analytics.As a Supply Chain Engineer, you will be instrumental in technical sourcing, managing supplier contracts, and fostering supplier relationships. You will also play a key role in engaging with critical suppliers during the early stages of technology and New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.

  • Work location: Serangoon
  • Work hours: Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm
  • Salary: up to $7,000 + AWS + VB (15%)
The Job:
  • Manage technical sourcing, contracting, supplier relationships, and program management for technical components, subsystems, and systems developed with or procured from the supply chain.
  • Conduct supplier process audits to ensure manufacturing and quality excellence, as well as cost reduction.
  • Lead and coordinate supplier relationships, ensuring milestones are met, contracts are managed effectively, and materials are delivered on time at the lowest possible cost.
  • Oversee supplier business reviews.
  • Lead and manage early involvement of key suppliers in technology and NPI programs, balancing technical and business challenges.
  • Support the achievement of business objectives, including technology and product requirements, cost reductions, and problem resolution.
  • Maintain technical understanding of wafer inspection and metrology products, commodities, and components, while staying informed of market trends for both suppliers and the company.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on purchase agreements, NDAs, and other legal documents.
The Talent:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic preferred) with 1-5 years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and new product introduction (NPI), with experience sourcing optical modules, motion control systems, laser systems, or PCBA components in Asia.
  • Familiarity with low-volume, high-mix manufacturing, DFT/Pull environments, and supply market trends.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals, and manage supplier reviews and scorecards.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems, with knowledge of supply chain best practices and compliance.
  • Semiconductor industry experience is preffered; domestic and international travel required.
