Job Location(s): Singapore, SG

Danfoss is in search of Supply Chain Executive (for 14 months contract) responsible in ensuring the material for both customer and production needs are supplied timely to minimize work disruption to these key stakeholders. This role is required to close liaison with suppliers, manufacturing plants and freight logistics to ensure the materials are delivered in right quantities, right items and good condition. He/She is to work with various internal stakeholders on forecast accuracy and to monitor regularly the stock level to minimize stock-out while meeting the cash flow deliverables target as per Profit Plan and Monthly Forecast.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Execute and Deploy the Supply Chain and Material Management processes and practices are compliance to both internal and external regulation requirements and policies.
• Responsible for Supplier Qualification activities includes supplier selection, assessment, and established supplier setup and KPI review and feedback.
• Responsible for Supplier Negotiation activities includes sourcing, price negotiation and cost out/down, and stocking and other product support includes labelling, packaging, incoterm etc.
• Responsible for Supply Acquisition includes strategic or tactical purchasing, Part Detail Setup, material requirements planning, shipping arrangement with nominated freight vendor and non-conformance resolution.
• Support the Material Management initiatives on Inventory Control program that includes managing Excess, Inactive and Obsolete inventory (EIO), Days-on-Hand (DOH), Stock Accuracy and Right Stocking.
• Close liaison with internal stakeholders includes Sales, Customer Service, Project, Production, Warehouse and Logistics on incoming goods, drop-shipment and other stock movement requirements.
• Other responsibilities as required.

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Business or Supply Chain
• At least 3 years of experience as supply chain personnel or relevant fields.
• Field experience in Supplier Qualification and Negotiation for direct material.
• Good knowledge and experience in any ERP or MRP system
• Capable of using Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
