Air Products Singapore Industrial Gases Pte Ltd, an Asia hub office of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, ), is hiring a Supply Chain Innovation Project Manager, on behalf of Asia Supply Chain & Logistics team.

The position is instrumental in shaping the future of Supply Chain for Air Products. The position strategizes and leads value-driven changes to improve the company\'s Supply Chain operational efficiency and productivity. The position develops and manages projects that create value and sustain the company\'s competitiveness in its industry. The position is the go-to subject matter expert for Asia Supply Chain strategic projects, as well as future-ready capabilities required by Supply Chain and partners to thrive in the dynamic and volatile environment.

The position is a member and key enabler to the success of Asia Supply Chain & Logistics Centre of Excellence teams (namely, [1] (Bulk Distribution) Operations & Technical Support, [2] Packaged and Specialty Gases Engineering & Operations, [3] Process & Tools, [4] Digital Transformation), and their equivalents in Europe/Africa/ME/Americas. A self-starter who is skilled in change management, the position supports and delivers results through Asian sub-region Supply Chain Execution teams, often with collaboration with Global/Regional Support Functions (Finance, EH&S, Production, Procurement, Customer Service and Logistics, IT, HR) and Business Sales & Marketing/Operations teams.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

This is a key position for the Asia region (covering China, Korea, Taiwan, South-East Asia) that is accountable for planning, driving, and delivering projects to create the most competitive supply chain. Key responsibilities include:

• Build smart Supply Chain Control Tower(s) that leverages the latest technology to translate data to insights to value-driven decisions, that help to improve Safety, Reliability/Quality, Productivity/Profitability and Sustainability/Growth. The ultimate Supply Chain Control Tower is one that integrates visibility of Plan, Source, Make, Store, Deliver, Return steps and enables good quality Commercial solutions.
• Promote cross-functional/cross-regional collaborative thinking to promote commercial innovation. Create goals to encourage creative thinking and breakthrough in organisational effectiveness.
• Manage projects or programmes that would increase Supply Chain value contribution to the company\'s near and long term goals, by use of data and technology.
• Support respective Asia Supply Chain Technical Leads to develop and roll out Supply Chain and Logistics Professional training content and programme, by using digital aids and creative methods to upscale and energise Supply Chain community.
• Support pan-Asia and Country Carbon Reduction Strategy by being Supply Chain focal point for intelligence and project management of Carbon Reduction projects.
• Support respective Asia Supply Chain Technical Leads to develop Technical/Professional competency framework and Career Ladder. Harmonise this with other regions and within Asia.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor\'s Degree in an Engineering Field, with a Project Management Professional (PMP)\xc2\xae certification is preferred. An added advantage if the candidate has a post graduate qualification in Supply Chain.
• 6-10 years\' work experience in a manufacturing or other operational environment, with at least 3 years in a Project Manager role. An added advantage if the candidate has prior experience in Industrial Gases or Logistics industry.
• A passion for learning and for new technology. An added advantage if the candidate has prior experience with executing a Digitalization project.
• Excellent written and verbal influencing and communication skills
• Strong Stakeholder management and change management experience
• High-energy level individual with the ability and courage to initiate improvement initiatives that can work in an unstructured and disruptive environment, without losing sight of the overall objectives.
