Responsibilities:
- Develop the company\xe2\x80\x99s new agriculture supplies business in collaboration with operations, business development, and technical teams. Business activities include procurement, supply chain management, break bulking, processing, order fulfilment, inventory management, distribution, and quality control
- Set up and maintain production facilities
- Hire, train, and manage operators
- Collaborate with other departments to create new product offerings, validate new suppliers/methodology, and improve SOPs
- Assess continuously business activities and find ways to improve efficiency and productivity
- Diploma/Degree/Masters in operation related fields or other relevant technical fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business management and production operations
- Experience in operations management, supply chain management, inventory management, and/or procurement
- Able to integrate knowledge and requirements from different business functions to synthesise new insights
- Humble team-player who is meticulous, keen to learn and hard-working
- Experience in managing a new business unit or startup
- Experience in agriculture or horticulture related fields
